The Los Alamos Stable Owner's Association was created to be an interface between those who lease stable lots on North Mesa, the county residents, and the county government.  The board meets once a month and there is a general assembly meeting each year. Meetings are designed to address concerns ranging from land upkeep, drainage, and arena maintenance

to community outreach programs and public relations. LASOA board members want to hear YOUR concerns whether you are a horse owner or a county resident. We are neighbors helping neighbors with the ultimate goal of enriching the community. If you would like more information about the stables, check our resources page.

LASOA and the Los Alamos Stables are proud to be a part of community programs such as 4-H, Pony Club, and the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America as well as therapy programs such as Lemonade Living and The Gifted Horse. LASOA supports and encourages our membership to share their knowledge and love of animals with these groups and

many more. We continue to look for community outreach opportunities so that we can increase what we are able to give back to Los Alamos as we have been doing since the 1940's when it all began. Check our Calendar for more information or feel free to contact a board member with your ideas for community awareness and involvement.
